History

Over the last 10 years, existing microbreweries have enjoyed popularity never before seen in this country, springing up in virtually every city from coast to coast.  Yet, despite this incredible upward trend many of these same operations still experience difficulty, generally due to inherent problems within the microbrewing industry.  The most formidable of these problems are quality, consistency and cost effectiveness. 

Traditional microbreweries depend on constant observation and interaction by a trusted Brewmaster to ensure a quality product.  This makes the process a labor-intensive task that can only be completed by one member of an organization, a practice not sensitive to labor concerns.  And even the most skilled Brewmaster is subject to human error and must develop recipes over time, resulting in various qualities of beer.  All of this adds up to a product that isn’t palatable to the ever-growing number of discerning beer drinkers in the United States.
