Advantages The
FALCON system
offers many benefits to its users and has significant effects on all aspects of
the industry, from clientele to cost of business. Brewing beer on premises means attracting a new cross-section
of the public. This thirsty group
of customers has been refining their taste buds on imported beers and name-brand
microbrews for years now. They know
what they want and are willing to pay to get it. These demanding clients are quite loyal to their favorite
brews, and expect the consistent quality they enjoy from their breweries.
This is where the FALCON system
outperforms the competition. The
complete automation of the brewing process ensures that week after week regular
customers can order a glass of their favorite ale, and receive exactly
what they are expecting. No
surprises. This is great news for
franchises and chain concepts, as a signature blend can be duplicated at all
locations without guesswork, or local ‘customization’ of the recipe. BrewTech’s FALCON system also adds the distinct advantage of supporting a virtually unlimited variety of beer styles and flavors. As microbrews continue to gain popularity, consumers are gradually realizing the full spectrum of brewing potential, and are asking for specialty brews more often than ever before. The FALCON can handle just about any request: Ales, Lagers, Porters, Stouts, Wheat beers, and even fruit flavored brews can be easily produced. And with BrewTech’s pre-tested, pre-packaged recipe kits, the fear of experimentation is eliminated. Each of these recipes is moderately priced, and includes everything required to produce 62 gallons of premium craft beer, as well as all the materials needed to clean and sanitize the system in preparation for the next batch. Operators can expect the overall cost of producing beer on site to be significantly less than purchasing equivalent, commercially brewed beers. And because the beer is a genuine microbrew, the customer is often willing to spend a bit more to enjoy it. The FALCON system therefore delivers a lower cost-per-serving than commercial brews, while bringing in a higher profit-per-serving ratio as well. On site brewing is not however without its drawbacks. Strict federal and local government regulations have discouraged many would-be brewpub owners. This is why BrewTech has developed a proprietary Personal Computer Interface for the FALCON brewing system. The PC interface allows the system to actively monitor and transmit data from the main control system to a personal computer running the BrewTech software. (Windows98 / Windows NT platform) The PC software then interprets the data, creates detailed reports, and then archives the information to a permanent storage device. What this means to the Pub Owner is, no need to manually create daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports for the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms. These are all created automatically by the system. The software package also allows BrewTech customers to place recipe orders via the Internet or a direct dial-up connection 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. (Perfect for the long evening hours that must be kept in the food and beverage industry.) In addition to online ordering, the PC software also tracks all inventories into and out of the system, automatically. The FALCON system also offers significant aesthetic appeal, and is available in several finishes, from a state-of-the-art bright polished stainless steel to the Old World style of classic brass. The FALCON can complement any décor, and creates a sense of visual credibility for guests. The modular design of the FALCON allows the whole system, or as little as one tank to be showcased, if space is at a premium. On premise brewers also often enjoy incentives as well as special liquor licensing from various government agencies. BrewTech Labs will be happy to help guide you through the licensing and approval process for your area.
